Blog of a Test Manager

This blog is about everyday things in the office. I work as a test manager ( for a consulting company in Switzerland. They send me into large projects in Germany and Switzerland. What you will not find here are names of either those companies or my co-workers. What you will find are ideas and experiences I made and make in the office. Things that I learned the hard way and that help me now. Some entries will be funny and are not to be taken too seriously, but I hope that most are worth to at least think about.

There are no absolute truths here. My work is mostly about people and those people behave differently under different circumstances and as every project is different, so are the problems. Some basic “best practices” start to emerge in time though.

Please feel free to let me know what you think, what you experience and don’t forget that “the quickest way to become an old dog is to stop learning new tricks” [CY N. PEASE].
